Fornalutx is twinned with Strembo
On 27th April 2013 a ceremony took place in Fornalutx to mark the official twinning of towns. Strembo is a beautiful , mountainous small town in the Trentino municipality of Northern Italy.
Fornalutx and Strembo are now officially twinned.

This process began in June 2011 when the dignitaries of Fornalutx were given the key to Strembo. The key to Fornalutx was given to the visiting party from Strembo on Saturday 27th April 2013 and then there was a typical Mallorquin fiesta. Music, dancing and fireworks.
A plaque has been unveiled in the Fornalutx Town Hall marking the occasion.
Both places look forward to increased cooperation and cultural exchanges
