The Sanctuary of Lluc
Is a 30 minute drive up the mountains from Soller. This site is a very important shrine in Mallorca and is a place of sanctuary and respite for many. The Choir School the ‘BLAUETS’ are famous throughout the world.They sing every day during their school terms in the Church and are a huge tourist attraction in their own right.
At Christmas they are especially significant and their Christmas Eve service is attended by hundreds of people.
This weekend – 13th & 14th December 2014 they are holding a CHRISTMAS FAIR in their cloisters. The choir will sing at mass during the day and it will be a wonderful experience.
The chapel in which they sing is also famous for its BLACK MADONNA
