Canyoning is a relatively new sport that involves walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling and/or swimming through a canyon. Due to the limestone rocks found in the Tramuntana mountain range, Mallorca boasts many canyons that have been carved out over millions of years by water. These narrow gorges, with beautifully sculpted walls and waterfalls provide a striking setting for this all-action activity.
When to go? Canyoning is practised throughout the year in Mallorca, although the best time is generally from October to April when the island’s rainfall is at its heaviest.
Our canyoning guides are professionally qualified and experienced so you will be well looked after on your trip. All material including climbing harness, ropes, helmets, wetsuits, bags and watertight containers are provided.
All you need to bring is a good pair of walking shoes, lightweight warm clothing and a sense of adventure.
